My Story
Hey folks. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my profile and read about my story so far!
In May 2020, almost 3 months into national lockdown, my friend Jude introduced me to Scentsy. I have always been a USA wax fan and have used a number of different brands. I simply wanted to dip my toes in and support my friend on a new venture.
I ordered a 6 pack of wax as my first order & as soon as it arrived, I just couldn't wait to melt some Scentsy. The cold sniffs alone were wonderful, so authentic & strong.
In all honesty melting wax is what's got me through almost a full year of Covid restrictions. It was a total escape from reality. As the global pandemic progressed, Scentsy became part of my daily self care routine. Although we couldn't leave home, I could pop on my favourite waxes & be on that faraway beach or rolling in that imaginary lavender field 😂
I then purchased my first mini warmer, then a few more and finally I invested in Obsidian warmer. When I'm at home, my warmer is very rarely off. I always have something melting. I love them all and how I can switch it on, let it do its thing and not have to worry because it's totally safe.
I used to be obsessed with candles but in all honesty, I very rarely burn candles anymore. I don't have to worry about wick issues, poor fragrance throw, tunneling, soot and many, many other problems. Scentsy gives me pure fragrance, more mileage on my wax, all with minimal effort, each and every time.
So, as I fell more in love with the brand, I purchased more and more wax, car products, pet products for my dog Belle, bodycare, laundry stuff & I even got a mini fan diffuser for Christmas from Jude, which I love using in the car too. I just adore the variety of products offered. The catalogue has a wide selection of self care items, because it's so important to treat yourself but also gifts for friends & loved ones.
I've joined Scentsy as 2020 into 2021 was a lot. I work full time for our wonderful NHS and I caught Covid-19 in December and it really floored me. It's been a slow recovery back to being myself. Whilst I am so thankful and lucky to be getting back to me, I just wanted to share my Scentsy love with you. It's a way to bring some fun to my passion for fragrance, build my confidence back up again and chat to new people about fun things.
